BVB fans have already taken part in a large-scale campaign, collecting donations for the people affected by the war in Ukraine. Here’s how you can continue to donate.

We still need goods to be donated at the collection point operated by Grenzlose Wärme e.V. at the Westfalenhalle 1 in Dortmund. BVB are supporting their campaign. You can come by with your donations every day from 10:00 to 18:00 CET. They are also looking for volunteers to help sort through the donations.

Please note: please do not donate any goods that are not on the list of items needed.

The “#StandWithUkraine” solidarity wristband is available in the Ukrainian national colours of yellow and blue for €10 in the BVB online shop. The proceeds will go to Libereco. In addition, we offer the option to order the solidarity wristband for €25 or €100 in the shop.

In cooperation with the municipal hospitals and the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Westphalia-Lippe, medical supplies were purchased with the money donated. The first truckload is already on its way to Ukraine, and another one will follow soon. Donations can be made via the BVB Foundation “leuchte auf” here.

Last weekend, four Black and Yellow teams also displayed a sign of peace during their matches: the captains of the U23s, U19s, U17s and the BVB women wore captain’s armbands in the Ukrainian colours and with the inscription “#StandWithUkraine”.
